This is a very costly and time consuming task.

Now, rather than having to pay two people to manually enter keys, Triton’s Remote Key Transport  (RKT) solution uses cryptography to remotely load keys directly from the host to the ATM across a public network. Can Triton's Remote Key Transport solution be used on legacy model ATMs such as the 9100 or 9600?

No. Triton's RKT solution is only supported with the RL1600, RL2000, RT2000, RL5000 and FT5000 model ATMs with Triton Standard version 2.4 and the Sagem T5 keypad. Please contact your Triton sales representative to find out how you can take advantage of our trade in program to replace your older Triton ATMs.
Is user access to RKT restricted?

Yes. RKT functionality is protected by the management functions password, and the ATM will only communicate with the legitimate host. In addition, the Encrypting PIN Pad's (EPP) password must also be entered when an RKT is being performed for the first time with a new host, before a new "Host ID" is entered.
How is RKT initiated?

When a new ATM is first installed, the operator initiates RKT via a management function command. When RKT is subsequently used to change the master key on an existing ATM, the operator may again initiate the RKT via a management function command or the host may include a flag in a regular message sent from the host to the ATM, such as a financial transaction response, where the flag instructs the ATM to commence the RKT.
How are working keys downloaded after an RKT?

After an RKT completes, the operator may initiate a working key download via a management function command or the host may include a new working key in the final RKT message sent from the host to the ATM. Subsequent working keys can be downloaded at any time in the reply to any transaction.
